Art Submission Guidelines
Below are Decal Impressions’ guidelines for file submission. These guidelines help ensure your project is printed to the best possible outcome.
Photoshop (.psd), PDF (.pdf), Illustrator (.ai or .eps), Indesign (.indd), CMYK Tif (.tif) or 100% Scale 300dpi CMYK JPG (.jpg).
MS Word (.doc or .docx), Excel (.xls), PowerPoint (.ppt) or Publisher (.pub) - Please note that these are NOT recognized professional print file formats, and will require us to recreate or reset your artwork in a professional package. This is subject to our normal hourly design rates.
All fonts must be converted to outlines, paths / curves. Font files are subject to corruption or substitution unknowingly, resulting in incorrect reproduction.
All bitmaps (pics) must be CMYK and 300dpi.
All files must be in CMYK format, NOT RGB. Alternatively, Pantone, or “spot” colors, can also be used. If using Pantone colors, please include the Pantone Reference Numbers used in your design. Pantone color matching is subject to an additional charge.
Please include a minimum of 0.25” Bleed, or 0.125” on all four sides. For double sided prints, please include a 0.5” bleed, or 0.25” on all four sides.
